PROJECT SUMMARY
Working as the subcontractor, Bloomsdale Excavating was contracted to provide mass excavation, drilling & blasting, storm & sanitary sewers, and concrete sidewalk, curb & gutter, and paving within the project area. This project was unique due to the confinement of the area, which proved difficult when storing crushed materials on-site. The crushed material being stored was later used for rip rap, clean stone, and base rock for the project. Bloomsdale crushed and utilized approximately 90% of all granular material from the on-site rock cuts and turned the building pad over to the general contractor on schedule.
